The Wondrous West Coast… {Tasmanian Photographer}

I feel lucky to live in such a beautiful state. When I need to escape I have so many wonderful places to go.

This time we decided to take the boys to Strahan, on the west coast of Tasmania. This is a place that both hubby and I have childhood memories of. Seeing as though we hadn’t been to this part of the state since we were children we thought it would be great to go and see how much it had changed.

We stayed at Risby Cove’s waterfront accommodation. How lovely it was to be so close to the water and to be able to watch the sunset. The staff were very friendly also!

We took a ride on the Wilderness Railway which took us to Queenstown and we learnt a lot about the mining history along the way.

Our first night was a little rainy but still a beautiful view from our veranda…

Ocean Beach, where hubby used to fish with his family when he was a young boy…
