12 Sep Newborn Goodness – Studio Highlights from June

A typical day photographing in my Hobart newborn studio begins with turning on the heater to make sure the studio is a cosy temperature for baby who is going to spend most of the session in his/her birthday suit. I tinker about choosing which props I’d like to use, there usually some favourites I use a lot but I also like to add in a little something different for each client. I absolutely love using neutral colours with newborns but will also add a little splash of colour.

I greet my clients as they arrive and determine whether bub needs a feed to begin with. After this the fun begins. I take baby and wrap him/her and settle them off to sleep before working some photo magic and capturing some beautiful portraits.
