13 Jul Studio News – 2015 AIPP Tasmanian Epson Professional Photography Awards

As an accredited professional photographer with the AIPP, I have been entering the Tasmanian state awards for the last couple of years. It’s always such a nerve wracking experience to stand along side some of the most talented photographers in Tasmanian and have my work judged.

This year I entered 7 images that represent my day to day work which I provide for my clients. I was over the moon when 6 of those images were given silver awards, with the seventh only missing out by 1 point.

Not only did I receive 6 silver awards but the points I accumulated meant I was one of three finalists in the running to be Tasmanian Family Photographer of the year. Although I missed out on that title this year, I am honoured to have been considered along with two other very talented photographers.

I’d like to thank my wonderful clients for entrusting me with your most precious family members, for believing in my work and for allowing me to carry out my visions.
