This week I have been featuring some of my macro baby shots on Instagram – you can follow my profile @petanikelphotog.

Sometimes we take the little things for granted and before you know it baby has grown and changed so much that you find it hard to recall just how tiny her toes were, or how beautiful and long his eyelashes used to be.

I love to be able to capture these small details for my clients because at the end of the day these are the things you want to remember!

I use a  Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM Lens. Here is a small selection of the gorgeous detail photos I’ve captured.
