From that first little test that shows a new life will be coming into the world, how your entire world will change.

The first few months are a time of excitement, disbelief and wonder. Those swirling thoughts, all the possibilities and changes that are in store for you. As this new life develops you begin to get to know them, those little flutters and kicks from within, staring at their little black and white ultrasound photo wondering about who they will be. Will they have Mummy’s nose or Daddy’s toes?

As your belly swells and you near the final stages the anticipation as you prepare for their arrival grows. How many nappies and outfits do they need? Before you know it all this lead up will come to the moment you lay your eyes on them. Nothing in the months before can prepare you for it, you just can’t plan for the moment you instantly love them.

I was delighted to be able to capture some beautiful maternity photos for Scarlett’s Mummy as well as some precious Newborn photos when Scarlett was born.
