Maternity photography is becoming more and more popular as a special way to document this exciting time in a couple’s lives. It’s designed to capture the love and anticipation in the weeks leading up to the arrival of your new little bundle.
Pregnancy is a miracle but not always an easy process for everyone. The journey along the way is sometimes fraught with loss, heartache, medical issues and at times it can be a long process. That journey is definitely something that should be celebrated.
A woman’s body undergoes many changes throughout pregnancy. It does amazing things and for that you should be proud!
Some words from Eliza after her recent Maternity Session;
“Peta made me feel so comfortable and beautiful in our maternity photo session. I enjoyed the scenic drive to her studio in Honeywood. Even on a forty degree day it was fun, relaxing and a great way to celebrate my pregnancy. Peta supplies props and gowns and this takes all the stress away. Hubby and our two children love the images! Seeing her beautiful work on the walls and newborn props has made me even more thrilled to meet my baby next month. Thank you so much Peta. You made a pregnant lady feel like a goddess.”⠀

Maternity sessions are generally booked for around the 34-37 week mark. Around this time the baby bump is usually lovely and round, and you are still feeling fairly comfortable.

Upon booking you will be emailed a what to wear guide.
I also have an amazing array of maternity gowns in the studio in an assortment of colours. You are welcome to choose one of these gowns for your session.
If you would prefer to organise your own Maternity wear, as a preferred photographer Mama Rentals offers my clients a discount off their hire.
