Some sessions just feel like pure sunshine, and Baby Gabriella’s milestone session was exactly that. From the moment she arrived, her big smile lit up the room and her happy little personality made photographing her an absolute joy.

At around 6–9 months old, babies are full of curiosity and charm. They’re sitting up confidently, reaching for toys, and sharing those gummy grins that melt hearts. Gabriella was no exception. She giggled at the smallest things, leaned into cuddles with Mum and Dad, and showed off her adorable expressions that I know her parents will treasure forever.

What made this session even more special was including her parents in a few portraits. Those moments of connection such as a gentle kiss on her forehead, laughter shared between mum, dad, and baby tell such a beautiful part of her story at this stage of life. These images are the ones that will bring them right back to how it felt to hold her in their arms at this age.

Why I love milestone sessions
Milestone sessions are such a wonderful way to capture the “in-between” stages of your baby’s first year. Newborn photos are precious, but babies change so much in those early months. By the time they can sit up, they’re bursting with personality and their expressions are priceless. It’s also the perfect opportunity to update your family portraits while your little one is still tiny enough to snuggle in your lap.
