Some babies arrive at their newborn session ready to snooze their way through the whole thing. Others… well, let’s just say they have their own ideas.

Baby Ellie fell into the second category the first time we met. She wasn’t all that impressed with the idea of having her portraits taken. She was wide awake and not too keen on the camera. So we decided to give her a little more time to settle in at home and try again.

Fast forward to “take two,” and Ellie was an absolute dream. She slept soundly and let us capture those peaceful newborn moments every parent adores.
