It’s crazy how a baby can make you more fearless and more fearful than you ever imagined, all at the same time. You just want to protect them from any harm and you know you’d walk to the ends of the earth to do that. It’s that parental instinct that kicks in.

It’s like you’ve always known each other, and yet each day is a discovery of something new and wondrous. As your baby learns about the world, you feel like you’re learning too. She’s yours, but you don’t own her – you belong to each other. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing this delightful soul, Charlotte, and witnessed the incredible bond she shares with her parents.
Charlotte’s aunty approached me to nominate her sister for the opportunity to have a special rainbow baby session having explained to me the incredible process they had been through before expecting their beautiful baby girl.
