Newborn babies bring joy, love and hope. When 2 week old twins Lucas and Ryan arrived their family were given those things twofold. I am always intrigued by twins, watching them snuggle up together and thinking how a few short weeks earlier they spent their days in the womb that way. Observing their little personalities you can see that although they look similar they already have their little differences. Meet Ryan… and Lucas…
A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to travel to the Gold Coast for a workshop with Jodie Otte (website) which was held at the studio of Wild Spirit Photography. It was such a great experience and I learnt so much in these few days about lighting and posing. I can’t wait to be able to put all this knowledge into practice. Here are a few photos from the workshop…
A session with 7 week old Alex was the perfect way to begin 2011. When Alex’s mum contacted me before Christmas Alex was just a little older than my usual newborn sessions. Throughout the session we captured some gorgeous wide eyed smiley shots and a few minutes of peaceful sleep. Bec, it was nice to meet you guys and I hope you like your little sneak peek.
My best friend’s little girl is one of the sweetest, smiliest babies I have ever met. She certainly knows how to light up a room and at almost 1 year old she already has this photo business down pat. Here are a few photos from her mini Christmas card shoot;
Alex and Zoe have grown so much since our last session here. They are now 6 months old and today they were christened. They looked so adorable in their little outfits. The beautiful cake was made by Shelly from Tassie Sweet Temptations
Baby Jordan has grown so much since his newborn photos which can be found here His Mummy and Daddy are good friends of mine so I have been able to watch him grow. We decided that now he has learned this clever new trick of sitting on his own, it would be the perfect time to capture some new shots.
Little Charlotte has grown so much in the six months since her last session. I am lucky enough to have been able to watch her grow into the gorgeous happy little baby she is today. Her big blue eyes and infectious smile melt my heart.
It was such an honour to photograph Felicity’s Christening yesterday. She has changed so much since her photo session a couple of months back. I met Felicity and her parents at her home to begin with to capture some photos before the ceremony. She looked like such a sweetheart in her little outfit. We then traveled to the church for the beautiful ceremony. Thank you so much Claire and Rob for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you.
Today I was lucky enough to be invited into the home of Claire and Rob where I met their gorgeous almost 4 month old daughter Felicity. Felicity was napping when I arrived so upon waking it took a little while to warm to me but by the end of the session she was throwing some sneaky smiles my way. The best part is I get to catch up with this little girl again in August to photograph her christening. Thank you so much guys for inviting me to your beautiful home. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek. I will be in touch soon with your completed gallery.
Little Annabella came to visit me today after her mum responded to a casting call I placed on my Facebook Page. Become a fan here if you wish to be kept up date with future casting calls or competitions. Annabella looked so cute modeling this little outfit from The Pixie Pot . She is very quick now that she is crawling but we got some very sweet shots of her cheeky little smile. Thanks Storm for bring Annabella to visit.
