Hello, I’m Peta!

The face behind the camera, capturing the sweetest newborn and family moments since I began my photography journey back in 2009. In that 17+ years I’ve photographed 100s of newborns giving me a lot of hands-on experience handling little ones.⁠ In addition to all that experience, you can feel confident as a new parent knowing that I am fully vaccinated and insured.

I’m typically fueled by tea and chocolate. I’m a true Virgo who loves country tunes and traveling, and I’ve recently rediscovered my love for reading.⁠

From the moment my dad placed a camera in my hands during high school, I knew I had found my calling. 

Describing my style as soft, timeless, and classic is a nod to my belief that every moment with a newborn is precious and deserving of a timeless touch. Bringing my quiet and calm nature into each session has become my secret ingredient -families and babies respond to this soothing presence, allowing us to capture those heartwarming connections that make each photograph a work of art.

Gentleness and baby safety are my unwavering principles. One of my greatest joys is seeing families return, each time with a new addition, and witnessing their journey as they grow together.

I would love to invite you to my creative space. My studio is located in Honeywood just 25 minutes from Hobart surrounded by nature and beauty; the perfect place to enjoy these first moments with your newborn.
