Studio Processes

A session fee of $125 is required at the time of booking to secure your session date. Your chosen date is not booked until your payment is received. This amount is not refundable but can be transferred in the event of illness. Please give at least 24-48 hours notice where possible. Any subsequent reschedules will incur a fee of $100 to secure a new booking.

Your session fee covers immediate family (parents and siblings) up to 5 people. Additional people outside of this will attract a fee of $25 per person.

Images from your session must not be used for commercial use without permission from Peta Nikel.

It is advisable to book your newborn session once you are given your due date. Sessions are limited per month to allow for the unpredictable nature of newborns.

Any promotions where a discounted rate is offered, this does not apply to current booked sessions. Offers may not be used in conjunction with other offers. One offer per session.

Please advise through your client questionnaire or by email, if there are any family members that have any special needs/ circumstances.

The studio has a zero tolerance policy for disrespect towards Peta and her photography equipment. Please ensure care is taken at all times around the studio equipment, to prevent breakages and to keep children safe. Non compliance with this will result in cancellation of the session immediately. No refund will be issued as per the cancellation terms.

We reserve the right to refuse service at any time. Please do not arrive at the studio unwell as this puts Peta at risk as well as future clients. This will result in cancellation of the session immediately. No refund will be issued.

Any package or voucher credits need to be used within 28 days of session. After this time they will expire.

Images not ordered within 3 months of session will be archived for 12 months before being purged. Images can be retrieved at any time during the 12 months with a $100 retrieval fee payable at the time of placing ordering.

Peta Nikel Photography respects your privacy and personal information is not shared with any third party or other organisations.

Gift Vouchers

Promotional & Prize Vouchers

1. Only one Peta Nikel Photography promotional gift voucher per family, per year may be used. This includes special offer vouchers purchase from my website.

2. A $50 deposit is required to secure your booking into our diary. This deposit will be credited back towards your order on the day of your ordering session. This deposit is not refundable but can be transferred to another date in the event of sickness.

3. For products over the value of their gift voucher, the recipient will be charged my normal prices. There is a minimum spend of $495.

4. Voucher must be claimed within the stated time frame

5. Session must take place prior to expiry date. Promotional and prize vouchers expire within 12 months unless otherwise stated.

6. Immediate family members included in each session (eg. Mum, Dad and Children). Extended family charged additionally.

7. All ordered images are permanently backed up and stored. Unordered images will be deleted 4 weeks after order collection.

8. Ordering session must be completed within 2 weeks of your photography session to redeem your gift voucher. Any credit on voucher will expire after this time.

9. Any offers may not be used in conjunction with any other offer or voucher and is not redeemable for cash and may only be used as described. Offer not transferable to any other person.

10. Special offers cannot be used to purchase portraits from a previous portrait session unless otherwise stated.

Purchased Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms & conditions before purchasing a gift voucher:

Gift vouchers cover the session fee as well as an included print at 5×7″ matted to 8×10″. The photography session will be held at a time agreed to by Peta Nikel Photography and the recipient and is non refundable but can be rescheduled due to illness.

The photography session is to be held in Peta’s Honeywood studio unless stated on the gift voucher. Gift vouchers are not-transferable to another person and not redeemable for cash. Gift vouchers are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of issue and the session must be booked for a date within this time frame. Vouchers must be redeemed in full within the validity period and any unused balance will not be refunded or credited on expiry.

The recipient should contact Peta Nikel Photography well in advance of the expiry date in order to make sure there is an available session time available within validity of the voucher. Please note that the sessions are limited and I book out weeks in advance.
