I’m Peta! I’ve been capturing newborn portraits and special family moments in my studio, just outside of Hobart for the last 14 years.
With many Newborn Photographers to choose from you may be asking what sets me apart from the others…
Apart from having a knack for soothing a crying baby and being able to make a great cup of tea, I’ve also won my fair share of awards including Tasmanian Newborn Photographer of the year in 2017 and 2019 and most recently Tasmanian Photography Business of the Year 2021 and 2022.
I’m quiet by nature, which makes me not an ideal member of a debate team but the best darn baby whisperer this side of Bass Strait. I have endless amounts of patience (sometimes also known as stubbornness) and I still pinch myself every single day that I get to cuddle babies all day long and call it ‘work’.
My studio is located in Honeywood in a quiet and serene semi-rural location, just 25kms from Hobart CBD. I’m excited to invite you into my creative space, where you can sit back with a cuppa and watch the magic of your little one’s first portraits being captured.
