Memorable Moments of 2016

2017 is well underway so I’d love to take this opportunity to share with you my favourite moments of 2016 through photos.

Most Smiley Baby

There were a few bubbas that were contenders for this but I could not go past Vinnie. His little smile lit up the room and made me smile too.

Favourite Behind the Scenes photo of me (taken by the lovely Amber Robinson)

I know you can’t really see me but I love this photo of me working with twins Amber and Flynn as it has such a calming feeling about it which is the feeling I aim to create during my sessions.

Longest Running Client

I met Cheryll when she came to the studio for a Maternity session when she was pregnant with Ivy. We are about to photograph Ivy’s 5th Birthday photo shoot, and during the last 5 years this family have become pretty special to me.

Treasured Moment

I have a soft spot for Grandmas as I was so incredibly close to my own Nan. I love that these photos of Talyn with his Great Grandma will be always treasured by his family.baby and grandma

Best Hair

I also have a soft spot for babies with lots of dark hair as they remind of my youngest when he was a baby. Gracie had a beautiful head of dark hair!

Facebook Crowd Favourite

Some photos get more likes and comments than others on Facebook. It can sometimes depend on content or  it can just be a matter of how many friends mum and dad have on social media. The most popular photo on my facebook page in 2016 was this gorgeous on of William with his baby sister Lily.

Story Behind the Photo

I’ve gone for a personal photo for this one. In 2016 I ventured out of Australia for the first time ever. We went on a family holiday to Fiji. It was the most amazing experience! While there we visited one of the Fijian villages, where we welcomed with a traditional Kava ceremony, we bought handmade items from the lovely ladies selling their wares and we also visited the school to donate a box of school supplies. Whilst there we were entertained by these boys who were super keen to be photographed, they were pulling out all the poses and were having a great time.
