A new baby is such a blessing. When someone little comes along they show us just exactly what love is.

The saying goes that they hold your hand for a little while, but your heart for a lifetime, and it’s so true. It’s hard to fully grasp the meaning of this saying when they are little, but rest assured when the time comes you will know full well the truth of this wisdom, usually bestowed upon you by parents of teens.

The sleepless nights and long day may be hard but the moment they smile in their sleep, or giggle for the first time all the hard moments wash away in time and you discover a new level of love and wonderment you never knew you could reach.

It’s a remarkable journey to be a parent, the real life rollercoaster ride that is the most important role we will have in our lifetime.
